Congratulations, EG&G Dahlgren!

We are pleased to announce that the U.S. Navy has awarded EG&G the Detect/Engage Programs and Projects contract to provide technical engineering support for the Theater Warfare Systems Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.

Under this contract, EG&G will provide engineering and technical services for system integration and interoperability of warfighting systems on existing and future ships. The potential revenues to EG&G over the full five years of this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract are $79.5 million. This is one portion of a three-part re-competition that constitutes the follow-on to an existing U.S. Navy contract. The Detect/Engage Programs and Projects effort is a key element of the range of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support activities that EG&G provides to the U.S. Navy.

John Bozarth, Director of Engineering Services, extends his appreciation and congratulations to all of the many contributors to this win. Special thanks to the CLIN 2 specific team of Pat Baker, Tom Blackwell, John Guthrie, Diane McCauley, Marcia Roberts, Shannon Sawdy, Cliff Scholl, Marianne Strafer, and Steve Thompson.
