CTP
CURRENT TEST PROBE

The CTP Test Probe is used to achieve accurate measurement of the current waveform on individual test wires. A type SMC (UG-1619/U) connector is used for the current probe signal output. Other connectors are available at a slight extra charge. Specified lengths of coaxial cable, either braided or semi-rigid, may also be requested.

Either a one-ohm (CTP-1) or 5-ohm (CTP-5) transfer impedance current probe may be selected to provide measurement bandwidth from 20 kHz up to 400 MHz. The standard units (SMC connector) are the current probes used in the CCP coaxial current probe fixture (Data Sheet 1131)
