NMF-1
NOISE MEASUREMENT FIXTURE

The NMF-1 Noise Measurement Fixture was designed to quickly check the integrity of EG&G model COP-1 and COP-5 Clip-on Current Probes. It is rugged, lightweight and easy to use in either laboratory or field environments.

Clip-on Current Probes are checked by inserting the probes into the NMF-1 and driving the probe body and probe cable shield with an rf signal generator connected to one of the type N connectors. An internal 50O resistor terminates the signal generator and an internal 5-ohm current probe monitors the current driven on to the probe being checked. The output of the internal probe is connected to the remaining type N connector.
