DIELECTRIC SENSOR STAND

Versatile dielectric sensor support stand designed to support free field sensor, balun and fiber optic transmitter. The sensor may be positioned to measure radial fields for field reference purposes or vertically for field mapping (photo A). For field mapping, the sensor can be positioned t 2, 4, 6, or 8 meter elevations. The movable boom allows the sensor and data link to be lowered to ground level to reorient the sensor, change sensor or service the fiber optic transmitter (photo B). The sensor stand is equipped with pneumatic tires to facilitate stand positioning, even on rough unimproved surfaces. Outriggers (4) re provided to stabilize and level the stand when positioned at the test point. A cradle positions and restrains the fiber optic data transmitter and the sensor. Either EG&G or Nanofast fiber optic transmitters can be used with existing cradle design.

A transportable version which incorporates retractable wheels and a shipping cover is available.
