The PCF-1A
and PCF-2A Probe Calibration Fixtures are used to calibrate
current probes commonly used in EMP experiments. The fixtures
split into two pieces to install a probe for calibration.
Two latches secure the two halves of each fixture. An opening
in the top of each fixture allows the current probe output
signal to exit the fixture.
Calibration current
signals are passed through a current probe within either fixture
via GR874 connectors. Each fixture includes insulating bushings
that center current probe apertures within the fixture.
The
PCF-1A is designed for use with EG&G Snap-On Current Probes,
SCP-1 (1,2,3) STD, SCP-5 (1, 2, 3) STD and HF, see Data Sheet
1134. The PCF-1A will also accommodate 91550 and 94330 series
current probes. The PCF-2A is designed for use with 93686
and 94456 series probes. Fixtures for other current probes
are available on special order.
