ACD D-DOT SENSOR (Free Field)
 The free - field
ACD (Asymptotic Conical Dipole) sensors are used to measure a
single component of the displacement current (dD/dt).
The asymptotic cone design exhibits less capacitance than the
HSD design and extends the upper frequency limit for the same
value of equivalent area (Aeq). EG&G has developed a shape for
the sensing elements which optimizes the bandwidth and pulse response
of these sensors.  |
