Institutional Services Contract

About EG&G ISC

EG&G is excited about the opportunity to return to the Space Coast and offer the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Air Force (USAF) an exemplary Institutional Services Contract (ISC) support team that is mission-focused. The EG&G ISC Team has the experience and culture required to meet the Government’s primary objectives for success:

EG&G has established a dedicated ISC Division with local full autonomy and accountability for this program. The EG&G team is composed of “best in class” subcontractors. Each member provides added depth and experience in specific performance areas that include:

They have agreed to be integrated into our organization, adopt EG&G safety, quality, environmental policies and procedures, and use EG&G work processes. In addition we will leverage their expertise and experience to enhance our approaches to ensure full KSC mission success.

EG&G’s management approach is based on establishing a strong partnership with the Government that fosters a collaborative, friction-free environment. The partnership is supported with several “best business” approaches that promote effective and efficient implementation of customer requirements. To provide effective external communications, we structured our ISC organization to mirror NASA’s, resulting in direct lines of communication between contractor and Government counterparts.

The cornerstone of our total compensation plan recognizes that people are our most valuable asset and when appropriately compensated and motivated will make significant, over and above contributions to mission accomplishment. We pride ourselves in taking care of our people and rely on them to satisfy customers through responsive, high-quality services. EG&G understands that maintaining a positive and professional relationship with the workforce at KSC is a critical responsibility and is paramount to achieving customer expectations. We aim to create a work environment that benefits the Government as well as our union partners.

EG&G has an extensive array of tools to successfully recruit the highly skilled workforce required for ISC that include the following:

We recognize the need to capture institutional knowledge and have made incumbents that add value to the operations our first priority in recruiting. We balance this approach with key personnel from internal team sources and new hires from the local area. We intend to fill 90% of our positions with highly qualified incumbents, 2% of personnel will be sourced internally, and the remaining 8% percent of initial staffing from external sources.
